Travel Vet can certify products for export to the EU and Northern Ireland, as well as worldwide. We complete the export health certificates and inspect the products at the premises/warehouse of the exporting company.

Products of animal origin include:

  • Dairy products
  • Pet Food
  • Meat
  • Meat products
  • Fish
  • Composites ( these are foods that contain animal products mixed with other things like croissants with butter in)

If you require a Vet inspection and health certificate for meat export or any other kind of animal product, get in touch with our friendly team at Travel Vet.

Following BREXIT, as of January 1st 2021, the UK is categorised as a third (non-Member) country, by the EU.

UK exports to EU countries are now subject to the same documentary certification and other requirements as goods arriving from the Rest of the World (including any permit issues for road haulage).

Specific requirements relating to respective health and safety risks of exporting animal and plant-based food items and feed products must be adhered to.
