Sarah graduated in 2010 from the University of Porto in Portugal. She then spent 8 years working in small animal general practice, mostly in London, where she completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. Feeling like she wanted to diversify her portfolio as a veterinary surgeon, Sarah did some work in veterinary telemedicine and with animal welfare on set at filming studios, before joining Travel Vet in August 2022 as an Official Veterinarian.

When not at work, Sarah is kept busy by her two young children and also enjoys yoga.
